Welcome Android!

Behayve for Android is on the way! We’re thrilled to say our first beta release for Android is now available for test drive. We’d love to know how you find it.

This beta has all the features of Behayve for iPhone, excepting only the following:

• Wireless connection to external devices ( ship’s instruments, laser rangefinder)

• Onboard custom maps, for areas where GPS is unavailable.

These are planned for upcoming beta releases.

You’ll need an Android device running Android OS9 or later. If your device has GPS hardware, you’ll be able use Behayve’s tracking features, but in any case behavior and environment recording are always available. A device with hardware accelerometer and gyroscope allows use of the auto-bearing function, otherwise compass bearings may be entered manually.
