Behayve privacy policy.

This policy applies to the Behayve app for animal behavior recording and tracking on iPhone, iPad, Android, the Behayve website and Behayve social media.

Your research data remains under your control and is not accessible by us unless you decide to send it to us, for example in connection with a bug report or query.

Personal information, communications or research data that you may send us will be kept private, not disclosed to any other party, and not used for any unintended purpose.

During behavior sampling and tracking sessions, Behayve may collect location data in the background, so that your own track, as well as animal tracks, can be displayed on a map. Recorded location data is not available to the Behayve team.

The Behayve app monitors its own performance and detects any crashes, sending diagnostic information to Behayve’s development team, for purposes of app improvement. No identifying, personal or research data is involved without your express consent. All performance information is automatically aggregated across all app users before the Behayve team can access it.
